Ingredients
  

  • 45 ml rye whisky
  • 30 ml Campari
  • 30 ml sweet vermouth (Carpano Antica)
  • Applewood or cherrywood chips for smoking
  • Orange peel to garnish

  1. Build the Boulevardier in a rocks glass: stir rye, Campari and vermouth over ice.
  2. Ignite 1 tsp wood chips in a smoking gun or cloche setup.
  3. Invert a tumbler over the smoke; cap the drink for 30 seconds.
  4. Uncover, garnish with orange peel.
