The 50/50 Martini

Why you are pouring this tonight

Equal parts gin and dry vermouth. A wetter, softer, more food-friendly Martini. The opposite of the modern fashion for bone-dry; showcases the vermouth as much as the gin.

What changes from the Martini

Equal parts gin and dry vermouth (not 5:1 or drier).

What to pour it alongside

Olives, cured meat, anchovy toast. A proper dinner aperitif.
